Roles and Responsibility :
- Design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows in AWS.

Build and maintain data lakes and data warehouses using AWS services such as:
S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, etc. - Develop data models and manage schema design for both structured and semi-structured data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to integrate data into applications and analytics.
- Implement data quality monitoring, validation frameworks, and automated alerting.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Enforce data governance, security policies, and compliance standards (e.g., encryption, IAM roles, audit logging).
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
Skill Requirement:
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, PySpark).
- Expertise with AWS data services: Glue, Redshift, S3, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.
- Experience with job orchestration tools like Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data lake house architecture, and data warehouse concepts.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, ECS).
- Experience handling streaming data pipelines using Kinesis or Kafka is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
- Experience with dbt, Quicksight, or BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
