Roles and Responsibility:
- Lead the design and execution of data science solutions involving statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Identify business opportunities where data science can create significant impact and shape the strategy accordingly.
- Build and validate predictive models using supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques.
- Ensure the integrity, quality, and scalability of data science solutions in production environments.
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders through compelling storytelling and data visualizations.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering skill development and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data science efforts on cross-functional initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and priorities in alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and software developers to implement and scale solutions.
- Influence data strategy, product development, and customer experiences with insights and models.
- Stay current with emerging trends in AI/ML, data science, and analytics; advocate for the adoption of cutting-edge techniques.
- Contribute to the development of a data-first culture and promote data literacy across the organization.
Skill Requirement:
Must-Have:
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Python (or R), SQL, and ML Algorithms and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven experience in building and deploying ML models in production environments.
- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, Dash).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven insights.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.).
- Domain experience in [e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce].
- Familiarity with experimentation design (A/B testing, uplift modeling, etc.).
- Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, or other advanced NLP techniques.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Ph.D. is a plus but not required.
